I actually went outside for the first time in 15 days! It was BEAUTIFUL!!!! It's amazing what you appreciate after being stuck inside for so long. I was watching 3 little wrens in the courtyard and they were so precious they made me cry. I think I was just super jealous of all their energy. It was hot but I think I felt a touch of fall in the air. Which is really weird because I feel like I missed most of the summer. But bring it on. I'm ready for cool weather and feeling good! Just an idea....the old saying about stopping to smell the roses? Not a bad idea.

Hey Cuz, so glad you go to go outside today. The clouds were amazing and it was God smiling down upon you. Gulf Shores misses you and so do I. Have Laney or Hugh or anyone call me, Leon or Dwayne if we can do ANYTHING for you!!! We love you so much so hang in there!!!!! Tell Laney the medical explanation was great, I think, still trying to soak it all in. Love and Light to you!!!!

I was extremely happy when Laney came and told us she had just talked to you and you were getting ready to go outside. We joked about how you have a roof to enjoy the view of from your room. I told Laney we should make you some pictures to hang all over your room. Beach pictures, window clings, paper mobiles, even those stupid little colorful sun catchers everyone has made at one time or another in their life. We laughed so hard thinking and talking about how we were gonna make a ton of stuff and how you would laugh so hard if Laney just showed up next time and started scotch taping everything to the walls all around your room. It was great to see her laugh so hard. It's always great to read your posts and see the true positive spirit coming out in you.
ReplyDeleteI even joked with Laney this morning I was gonna start slapping her around to toughen her up some to stand up to some people. She's just too nice - it kills me. As I went out to my car to get something it occurred to me....SHE'S JUST LIKE YOU! LOL
You know, most girls grow up saying I am never going to be like my mom. You have done such an amazing job with your kids and they all want to be just like you. I'm so jealous! I only hope and pray I can be the same with my kids as you have been with yours. It's amazing to see the love you all share in your family. It's so different and unique and a true blessing to witness.
